“Marriage. Awesome farm. “
The Monte do Ramalho, stands on a large estate of olive trees in the middle of Alentejo. Rustic facilities, well cared for with everything. Excellent for weddings, baptisms and other events, because it is very spacious. Rustic dwelling houses beautifully decorated. Natural pool very relaxing and attractive. To reach it is preferable to use gps. Very nice. Affable and friendly staff.

“Nature and tradition”
A place where you can hear the silence, in a perfect symbiosis between tradition and nature. The natural pool and tranquility that exudes at the Monte, are a real appeal to leisure and rest.

“The Accuracy of the quiet Alentejo”
Apartments very good with very warm decoration and typical Alentejo. Optimal conditions for a day of leisure and extreme quiet plus with great restaurants nearby. Too bad the little time I was. To return.

Ideal for those looking to stay away from the hubbub of big cities. The environment is the more rural imaginable. The views over long expanses of olive groves, with no light in sight are everything you could want. The surrounding is great for the kids: lawns, swimming pools, animals. The conditions of the apartments are great.

“It was like going back in time.”
Staying at Monte do Ramalho, a magnificent manor in the center of Alentejo, was like stepping back in time. For two days Casa Giesta was our home. The smallest of three attached cottages on top of a hill looking out over fields of olive trees silvery shining in the sun. A very cute, well equipped house nicely decorated with old-fashioned tools, fine bed and tastefully furnished in a romantic style. On our rental bikes we discovered the surroundings and visited small little towns. To cool down in the most beautiful swimming pool of natural water we have ever seen, near our cottage. Thanks to the hospitality of the property workers, Francisco, Maria and Massimo, we almost felt a member of that small agricultural community. If you happen to be in the neighborhood or want to escape busy life, this Monte do Ramalho is all you need.
